Dudek added: “The inventory of unsold properties is slowly growing and we see more and more ‘price improvements,’ which is a nice real estate industry euphemism for price reductions, something unheard of in the past few years.” According to Dudek, property owners who are considering selling their real estate within 12 months, are well-advised to evaluate their properties’ market values, physical conditions, and marketability. He recommends doing it before the real estate prices take a dive, which in his opinion is inevitable.
